Here I go.
1. I married my soul mate. I am so happy.
2. I love my two boy's more than anything in this world. They are so beautiful and I can't believe that I made them.
3. I love to cook! I find so much joy in my kitchen. I especially love making Italian food.
4. I love HGTV and DIY. I could watch all day.
5. I taught myself to knit watching Knitty Gritty and online at www.knittinghelp.org, I love it! It feels so good in your hands.
6. I used to live on the coast of VA but now live near Lexington, KY and I love it here! I am so lucky to be me=0)

Card for my Hubsy

I just finished this card. I had planned on doing something with the Pink Petticoat images that I received as a PIF from Malieta last week. I was so excited when I got them. I am slowly but surely going to use all of them! Thank you Malieta for such a great PIF. Okay back to my card, well I planned on making Troy a card and then he emailed me and told me he was having a bad day so I was like, THIS IS PERFECT!!! This is my first attempt at a masculine card, what do you think? (Oh the stars are a boo boo!) I wanted brads but my star punch was bigger than the little brads I have.) oopsie.

Wine Lady Card

Hello! I just used one of my new stamps that I purchased yesterday. The stamp is from a local artist here in Lexington and the stamp is made by American Art Stamp. I just love the saying. I thought the lady had to have the leopard print behind her, I wish it had been more true to color but this is what I have:) She kind of reminds me of me in 30 years, cause I love my vino! I also thought she'd definitely be wearing red and a black mink stole. I had a lot of fun coloring her and I can't believe she was only $3!!!! Seriously. I'll be doing some stuff with her sisters!

Update on the frickin tree, it is out of my back yard. It is still down but it is out of my back yard. We had to pick up the big stuff but when we mow we will likely make some mulch:) Nice.

Stamps I picked up today

I am so excited! Today I went to lunch w/ my Momma and the boy's in Lexington. We went to Bajio, my mom wanted Mexican. Well I won't say it was bad but it was "different". All of the food was super sweet, sort of odd you know? We went downtown and we took the boy's to Explorium which is the childrens musuem here in Lexington. They had a lot of fun and while I was downtown I noticed a shop and I went inside because I saw STAMPS. He is a local artist here in Lexington and I just loved his tshirt that said "Wine Princess", I am hoping that he makes a stamp of that one! Anyways, each stamp was only $3, I bought 3!!!! Update to a frickin tree!

Well the builder is on his way to take a look at the damage. If the tree is from his lot, the problem is his. Well the tree is on his lot as I wish my back yard were that big! but alas it isn't so thankfully I don't have to get out there with a chainsaw and hack that tree up! Thank goodness. Thank you Jen for making me not worry so much! You are a lifesaver! Literally:D

My busy weekend and a frickin tree!!!

Well I had a pretty awesome weekend!!! Friday night we didn't really do anything but Saturday was filled with lot's of stuff! My friend Dorine called to see if I wanted tix to the Cincinnatti Reds game against the NY Mets, well of course I said! Next thing I know we're on our way to my moms to drop off the boy's and meet up with my friends Bill and Brandy to go to Cincinnatti. I've been here in Lexington for almost 4 years (Sept.) and I hadn't been to a Red's game. It was awesome, I got to see Ken Griffey Jr. play and we had awesome tickets! I can't believe I left my camera in the car. I would have gone to get it had I known how close we were once I realized I left it when we got out of the garage. Anyways the game was awesome, sorry no pic's! The next morning we went to KY Kingdom (Six Flags) we met up with my cousin Cheryl and her husband and two kid's. Troy and Shawn got ride roller coasters while we played in kiddy land with the kiddos. We had so much fun but it was hot and muggy! I was so happy when Troy got back to help with our 2 year old, man he is a mess! Cheryl and I got to ride a roller coaster and that was so much fun! I also got to ride T2 w/ Austin, I didn't want him to but he really really wanted to and I let him. I tried to tell him how scary it was, well, he was scared to death when he got off! Austin is tall, he may be 7 but he is the size of a 10 year old. He is 56 inches and about 61 lbs. He can ride rides most if not all kids his age can. Needless to say when we got off Austin thought he was going to die. I felt horrible but I don't think he'll be trying to ride any big rides like that again. We got home and a storm started, here is a picture of our backyard complete with a new tree in it. Happy it didn't land on the neighbors new fence or our house!!! Hoping the builder back there will remove it, still don't know yet. I will keep you posted.

Oh my gosh, I knew I couldn't wait to get the PIF (bottom image) that I won from Risa's blog (which by the way you MUST check out because her stuff is so pretty) she is fabulous with layering and glitter, lots of bling! Thank you so much Risa!!!!!

I tried to add the watermark I have and I don't know what I am doing. These are Risa's idea's so don't copy it unless you ask her nicely!!!!! BTW sorry the pic isn't that great. I am working on a new one.

The images were downloaded from Pink Petticoat and the card stock is from Papertrey Ink. Nothing but fabulousness!!!

My RAK (top image) comes from Jayne C. in Battle Creek, MI. She sent me the sweetest note along with these wonderful goodies. She makes these magnets out of tile samples that she gets from Lowes, how awesome is that. They are adorable, I love them!!! Thank you so much Jayne and while she doesn't have a blog, she did send her email address so I will be sure to email her and thank her. It was my first RAK ever and I did Jen in HI's RAK Club . Check our her blog too, she is fabulous.

So.... I am super new to stampin and paper crafts so I had no idea what a PIF is. Well I knew I won one but didn't have a clue what it is. Well, I see it is a Pay It Forward. I am so excited to get the cards in the mail, I won them from Risa's blog http://malieta-lifessimplepleasures.blogspot.com/ . Please check out her blog, her cards are beautiful!!! She does an awesome job of layering and lot's of glitter and I love the glitter!!! When I get them in the mail I will be sure to post:)

My first cards post =0)

Hi out there! Here are two cards that I made yesterday. I got a bunch of new stamps from TAC and I absolutely love them! Joani gave me her stampin spots so I have been able to color in my images. I have been having so much fun. One of my favorite blogs is Pieces of You, she's Jen in Hawaii over on Blogs I love. Anyways on her blog she does a RAK group and puts you with someone, I emailed her and now I am doing my very first RAK. I am so excited. I am sending one of these cards. I am also going to participate in a challenge. Keep in mind that I don't have a lot of materials yet and I am a new blogger so this is all so new! These are actually the first cards I have "designed myself". Also, if anyone knows how to attach my watermark, I would SO APPRECIATE IT!!!! I have tried and tried, i don't know what I am doing wrong.

Happy Birthday America!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day! I sure did. Troy and I took the kid's to his mom and dad's and they watched them for us. We went down town to the Red White and Boom concert, we didn't see all of the performers but I did see all of the ones I wanted to. Billy Currington was awesome!!! John Michael Montgomery was really good too, oh and we got to see Bucky Covington and Julianne Hough. Such a great evening, oh did I mention the fireworks? Here are a few pic's from the evening.

I just got an email from Joani that my TAC order is in, SWEET! I can't wait. I joined a TAC group so I get to order some stuff for that this month too, I can't wait to get my TAC catty. I know I'm late, everyone else has theirs but not me:( I need to get some SU! stuff too, I'm dying for a few ink pads and paper, oh how I love their paper! Oh , I joined two RAK's, so stoked!
