I got the job at the University of Kentucky!!!

I am so excited! I can't wait. I start February 3rd and I am just so thrilled! Thank you to everyone who had me in their thoughts and prayers! It worked ladies!

Three cards in one day!

I made this for my mom who is in the hospital. She has been through so much and she really enjoys my cards. I love her so much, I hope she enjoys this one. The DP in the back, it is from Maria from Stampin Inspirations by Maria. If you click there you can see her wonderful tutorial! It is fabulous, hers is far better than mine but definitely check it out! Oh and the Spectrum stampin pad is from the blog candy that I won from her! Thank you again Maria.






My camera is broke so I am scanning everything. I don't like it as well, not that I take great pictures of my cards but.... I just would like for it to not look smooshed! I hope you like what I did with the dimension and the pop dots.


I made this one to thank a friend who I worked with for giving me a great letter of recommendation. She and I worked together and the University of Kentucky called me for a second interview so I am pretty excited! I really want to work for them. Tuition is half priced for myself and any immediate family member (hello I have two boy's!) AND they pay for 18 credit hours of schooling UP FRONT so my tuition for nursing school would be FREE! That is wonderful news. Plus their are so many other benefits (you are a state employee) they match you 200% to your 401K, just trust me. It is a great job!

Well I hope you all enjoy oh and please pray for me that I get this job at the University of Kentucky!

For my step sister Alesha

I'm not to the point yet that I have cards waiting to be sent. All of the cards I create now are being sent with someone in mind. I cannot wait to have a backlog of them and just pick a card that is cute and appropriate for the occasion. My step sister and I are extremely close and she is back in Virginia and I miss her terribly. I wanted her to know I love her and think of her often. So here it is. I hope you all enjoy. Thank you card

Two posts in one day! Well, I have an update on my craft area. My hubby dragged my craft table upstairs. I need to clean out my closet (it is huge ladies!) to put it in there but for now it is in my bedroom.

I made this card for my Pastor who sent me the Cambodian card. I tried to make it manly and used a stamped image that was sent to me. I also used my new CUTTLEBUG! I am so happy ladies. I love her! A Cuttlebug absolutely has to be a girl, she is too cute not to be. =0)

Anyways I hope you all enjoy it. I had a lot of fun making it.

I absolutely love this card! It is handmade by Cambodian women who were delivered from the sex trade by faith in Christ! This is such true testament of how wonderful God is. I got a Cuttlebug, some embossing folders AND an award

I love the blogs that I visit, the people are truly wonderful. I have a handful that really mean a whole lot to me. It is amazing the relationships you can form w/ people you only know through a shared hobby. Risa, I cannot say enough kind words about her, her cards are amazing and I hope after time and enough money and product that my talent can reach her level. When I saw her blog I was just in awe and I loved everything about her designs. Nothing has changed, she is still amazing Risa! Well she has given me an award, I am so thankful Risa, thank you honey! I have to pass it on to 7 people, I will post them later =0)
